Michael Sacenti Bio

Michael R. Sacenti is Principal of Hospitality Investment Management; he formed the company in 1995 and specializes in providing acquisition, asset management, consulting, and investment banking services to lenders/owners/investors. Since 1990 Mr. Sacenti has managed over $7 billion of Hospitality Assets, Loan Restructuring’s and Asset Sales of large portfolios of full service and luxury properties for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Citibank, FDIC, Fleet Bank and the Bank of New England to name a few. He has also provided advisory services on over $5 Billion of hotel assets to institutional owners, lenders and governmental agencies. These assignments have been on large assets in most major markets of the United States.

Mr. Sacenti received his BS degree in Hotel Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1982 and his MBA from American International College in 1983. Mr. Sacenti is a Board Member of the Dept. of Hotel and Travel Management and the Isenberg School of Management at UMass-Amherst. He is an Emeritus Board Member of the Center for Hospitality Industry Studies at New York University, and past member of the Hospitality Asset Managers Association (HAMA) and the Industry Real Estate Finance Advisory Council (IREFAC) of the American Hotel & Lodging Association.
