The National Athletic Trainers' Association Supports AFA



"The National Athletic Trainers' Association is a PROUD SUPPORTER of the Athletes For America initiative and is committed to emergency preparedness in all levels of sport and physical activity. Athletic trainers are the first responders when an athlete goes down on the playing field. Proper emergency preparation can literally save a life or prevent a chronic condition from occurring, if the injury is treated immediately and effectively. We all know that the seconds and minutes that pass after injury are so critical, and having this plan in place, along with the important coordination of efforts with other health care providers is essential for the athlete's safety and return to activity."
